Idaho Exit Polls

The state of Idaho has four electoral votes. State polls show Republican presidential nominee John McCain with a sizable lead of more than 30 percentage points over Democratic nominee Barack Obama. McCain has led Obama by a fairly wide margin since March 2008. Idaho has voted "red" in every presidential election since 1952, except one—voters chose Democrat Lyndon Johnson over Republican Barry Goldwater in the 1964 race.
