Iceland Riots

Thousands of protesters rioted in Reykjavik, Iceland on November 22, 2008, to demand that the Prime Minister resign over the recent economic crisis which has crippled the country. Iceland's economy was one of the strongest in the world before its currency plummeted in 2008 and the economy's dependence on international investors caused credit to dry up.
