Iced coffee is a variation of coffee drinks that is served cold or on ice. It can be as simple as adding ice to your regular coffee brew or can be done using espresso. Some of the popular versions would include iced latte, iced cappuccino and iced mochas. Frappuccino marketed by Starbucks is a very popular type of iced coffee.
Traditional Cold Dripped Coffee
Cold Dripped Coffee is the traditional method of iced coffee. Coffee grounds (with or without flavorings) are soaked overnight and the next day the mixture is siphoned or dripped from the container into a glass jar and chilled. Today the iced coffee heretics bypass the traditional method in preference for the fast track method of pouring regular hot coffee over ice and serving.
Ice Coffee Tips

Iced Coffee Recipe
In this short video from "Good Housekeeping", tips are offered for how to make a perfect iced coffee. Melting ice will dilute the finished coffee. In order to avoid this, either use twice the amount of regular coffee grounds when brewing the coffee for the drink, or brew the pot of coffee as normal, let it cool, then pour the normal strength coffee into ice cube trays and freeze. These coffee ice cubes can then be used, pouring regular strength coffee over them in the glass and adding the remaining ingredients.
