''Ice Age: Continental Drift'' Theatrical Trailer
The theatrical trailer for Ice Age: Continental Drift opens by introducing viewers to Scrat, a sabre-toothed squirrel (voiced by Chris Wedge). As in previous Ice Age films, Scrat is desperately trying to hang on to his beloved acorns. In this trailer, Scrat seems to be having some issues keeping the acorn in his paws. As he tries to hang on to a newly-discovered acorn, the Earth cracks open, sending Scrat (and the acorn) falling towards the center of the Earth.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQMuqmrA2aU
As the trailer continues, Scrat desperately tries to secure the acorn as the Earth's crust splits, dividing the continents. Eventually, Scrat lands on an iceberg. The force of his landing splits the iceberg into, with Scrat on one chunk of ice and the acorn on the other. Scrat is forced to watch, dazed from his landing, as the acorn floats away.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQMuqmrA2aU
