Ian White is a Canadian ice hockey player for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.
White was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs during the sixth round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. After playing with the silver medal winning Canadian team at the 2003 World Junior Championships, White joined the Leafs' American Hockey League affiliate, the St. John's Maple Leafs for the next two seasons.
White made his NHL debut in the 2005-2006 season, playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs in twelve games. The next year he became a full time member of the team's roster and earned 26 points in 76 games. On January 31st, 2010 White was traded to the Calgary Flames in a package that saw Dion Phaneuf going the other way.
