  • Ian Snell is a right-handed pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After attending Caesar Rodney High School in Delaware, the Pirates selected Snell in the 26th round on the 2000 amateur draft. After several years a minor league pitching prospect, Snell made his MLB debut with the Pirates on August 20, 2004.
  • Strengths

    Snell possesses a lively 90+ mph fastball, which he compliments with a solid curve. He seems to pitch better as the game goes on.
  • Weaknesses

    Snell sometimes struggles with his command, and is less effective against left-handed batters.
