Judges' Comments
Randy Jackson said he wasn't jumping up and down, but he liked it. Jackson felt it was time for Malubay to show confidence.Paula Abdul agreed that it was better than last week's performance.
Simon Cowell said it sounded like Chikezie was on harmonica. While he admited to rooting for her, felt believed her rendition sounded amateurish. It wasn't the best of her ability.

- I Should Have Known Better -- well, it's not a ballad. Finally, some of that delightful charm I thought I dimly recalled about her. Not spectacular, but, well, fun, captures the spirit of the early Beatles, kind of like Petula Clark covering a Beatles song on an old variety show or something. Could save her.
