I, Robot

I, Robot is a science fiction film about a crime investigation surroundinga murder supposedly committed by a robot. The film is partly based on Isaac Asimov's short story collection I, Robot and on Jeff Vintar's spec script Hardwired.

I, Robot is set in a world where there are robots everywhere. Some robots are for security and others are for maintenance. The movie takes place in a futuristic Chicago in 2035. Del Spooner, a cop who is played by Will Smith gets involved in a murder investigation. The robot, "Sonny"(voiced by Alan Tudyk), was supposedly caught in the act of murdering his maker, a very important doctor, Dr. Alfred Lanning played by James Croswell.
