"I Never Heard" is a song recorded by Latin hip-hop artist Safire and released in 1990. The song was co-written by Michael Jackson and Paul Anka in 1983. The lyrics and melody of the song appear to be quite similar to "This Is It"—a "new" song released by Sony after Jackson's death. On the day "This Is It" was released, Paul Anka told TMZ.com that after he and Jackson recorded the song, Jackson "stole" the demo tapes. Anka was reportedly considering legal action.
