I Love You, Man Synopsis

A successful real estate agent named Peter, played by Paul Rudd, gets engaged to his soul mate Zooey, played by Rashida Jones. Unfortunately Peter discovers that he doesn't have a male friend who he feels is close enough to serve as his best man in his dream wedding.
Peter decides to go on a series of auditions or "man-dates" to find the right man. Peter settles on Sydney Fife, played by Jason Segel.
