Hyun Weis, a 42-year old woman from Fountain, Colorado, was attacked in her home on Thursday, September 25, 2008, as she was cooking dinner for her son Nikita Lee Weis. She was beaten with a baseball bat by a teenager who entered her home dressed in black. Police arrested Weis' son, his girlfriend Sophia Nicole Alsept and two other men, Juan Antonio Velez Gonzalez and Brandon Michael Soroka.
