Hurricane Felicia became a category 4 hurricane on the evening August 5, 2009. On the afternoon of August 6, 2009, the hurricane had sustained winds of near 135 mph as it headed for Hawaii. On the morning of August 9, 2009, Felicia was downgraded to a Tropical Storm. On the morning of August 11, Felicia was again downgraded to a Tropical Depression.
