Danny Moving Slowly, Unlikely To Reach Hurricane Strength
Tropical Storm Danny formed on August 26, 2009, east of the Bahamas. With maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour and moving northward, the storm is expected to brush the East Coast of the United States over the weekend.http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT5+shtml/281432.shtml
Friday evening, Danny was centered about 330 miles south of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, moving north at 6 mph.
