Hurricane Bill Update

    Hurricane Bill has decreased to a Category 1 storm and has caused beaches to close across the east coast of the United States. As the storm continues to churn north along the eastern coast of the United States, the warning is to stay out of the water. Flooding and beach erosion are to be expected in many areas.

    A tropical storm warning and watch are in effect for those in Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. The tropical storm warning extends from Woods Hole, Massachusetts to Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts. High surf and dangerous waves extend the entire east coast and extend up to Maine.
