Hunger is a 2008 film directed by British filmmaker Steve McQueen. The story chronicles the tragic 1981 hunger strike of IRA volunteer Bobby Sands. Sands is famous for his protest of the British government's prison conditions. Sands used a hunger strike to demand the British government treat himself and other IRA prisoners as political prisoners and not terrorists.Official Site: Hunger
