Side Effects

Many serious side effects may occur once a person has started taking Humira these can include:

  • Extreme infections such as infections caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria and TB. The symptoms to look for in TB are cough, weight loss, loss of body fat and muscle or a low-grade fever.
  • Allergic reactions this may include swelling of the face, trouble breathing and skin rash.
  • Reactivation of the Hepatitis B virus for people that carry it. Signs of this may include poor appetite, fever, tiredness, rash, joint pain and a basic unwell feeling.
  • Problems with their Nervous system, this can include numbness or tingling, weakness in your arms or legs, problems with your vision, and dizziness.
  • Problems with their Blood, symptoms may include looking very pale, a fever that does not go away, bruising or bleeding very easily.
  • Heart failure may become present or worsen. Look for signs such as swelling of your ankles or feet, shortness of breath or sudden weight gain.
  • Problems with the immune system, similar to that of lupus. The symptoms include shortness of breath, joint pain, a rash on your cheeks or arms that gets worse in the sun or chest discomfort or pain that does not go away.
  • Psoriasis may become a problem or worsen if it is already present. Signs of this may include raised bumps that are filled with pus, or red scaly patches. http://www.humira.com/
