HumanCar Inc. is a private industrial design firm that specializes in advanced vehicle design and human machine interfaces, meaning they are using body movement to "power" their vehicles.c

HumanCar Timeline

2001-2011: Creator Charley Greenwood designs, manufactures and patents his FM-4 prototype that uses unique rowing mechanisms to propel the vehicle. Instead of a steering wheel, the vehicle has a lean-and-steer setup. The car can be powered by multiple people, as well as a battery-powered electric motor.c 

Over the last decade several HumanCar concepts have been conceived, including the Research Rod, the Imagine PS, the DUET GEN and the HOTTI.c
