In February 2008, Variety reported that a popular "human tetris" Japanese game show would debut in the United States on the FOX network. An exact broadcast date for the show, titled Hole in the Wall, was not disclosed.Variety: Fox to remake 'Hole in the Wall' (February 12, 2008)
In the Japanese version of the show, contestants stand before a pool of water, and must twist their bodies to fit "through strange shapes cut out of an onrushing wall."
