President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, has released an album titled Musica Para la Batalla, which translates to Battle Music. The album is a compilation of songs and poems by artists and groups involved in the Bolivarian Revolution.
Chavez contribution to the album is a song called "El Corrido de la Caballeria." The song is reported to be about a rebel leader from the 19th century named Maisanta. Chavez claims Maisanta is his great grandfather.
