The HTC TyTN 2 (pronounced "Titan Two") is a smartphone by HTC (High Tech Computer Company) out of Taiwan. Released September 4, 2007, the phone is the successor to the HTC TyTN. The TyTN 2 is also occassionally branded under the names HTC TyTN ii, HTC P4550 or HTC Kaiser, depending on carrier and location.
The TyTN 2 features a 2.8" resistive touchscreen, used in part for navigating the device. Resistive touchscreens require a small amount of pressure to sense where they are being pressed, but unlike some other phones, they do not require moisture or electrical pulse, meaning they can be used with a stylus or similar device. This screen has a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and TFT-LCD display. The screen can also be titled for a customizable viewing angle.
The top portion of the screen can be slid out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. When slid out, the main screen automatically switches from portrait to landscape.
The TyTN 2 also has 3 megapixel rear-facing camera, and runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional, with an upgrade to 6.1 available. http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=733&c=htc_tytn_ii_p4550_htc_kaiser_120http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_tytn_ii-2024.phphttp://www.htc.com/www/product/tytnii/specification.htmlhttp://www.htc.com/www/supportdownload.aspx?p_id=13&cat=2&dl_id=21
