HSDPA

HSDPA, which stands for High Speed Downlink Packet Access, is a mobile telephony protocol which allows remote data transfer, usually to mobile phones; in other words, it is a kind of mobile broadband. HSDPA is a 3G protocol, so it is more advanced and generally faster than EV-DO or GSM, which are the most popular kinds of mobile broadband for mobile phones. This may be shanging, though, as an increasing number of laptop and UMPC manufacturers are integrating HSDPA technology into their products and new HSDPA networks are being deployed worldwide.
