Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan is a Bollywood actor who exploded onto the scene in 2000 with his hit film Kaho Naa...Pyar Hai, which was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan.

Hrithik Roshan began acting as a child in the 1980s. His father, Rakesh Roshan, was a director, so Hrithik was no stranger to the world of film.

In 2000 he made his debut with the film Kaho Naa...Pyar Hai opposite fellow debuting actor Amisha Patel. The film became a smash hit, and Hrithik was propelled to stardom almost overnight.

After that Roshan appeared in a number of films, but his next big success in a leading role came for his appearance in Koi Mil Gaya in 2003. After that in 2006 he starred in Krrish and Dhoom 2, which were both huge box office successes.

In 2009 he is set to start filming Krrish 2.
