Howie Long was a defensive end who played in the National Football League, with the Los Angeles Raiders. After his retirement from the NFL, he launched a successful career in sportscasting and acting. Long has been prominently featured in a series of advertising campaign for various companies, including Chevrolet and Radio Shack.
NFL Career
Long was the 48th overall pick in the 1981 NFL Draft. Long was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and won a Super Bowl with the Raiders (1984) during his 13 seasons with the team. Long was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
