Start with a plan. Make up a list of things your home requires for winter preparation and put them up on your refrigerator. Add a list of materials you need on the side. Remember you can't do them all in one day but this will help you remember them and most of the tasks only require a small amount of time each.
Basic Home Winterizing Checklist
There are many different areas in your home that need to be checked but this a common list to start. Not all homes are the same so there may be additional areas in your home to check.
