Step 1: About Twitter
- Twitter is a social networking site that permits users to send 140 character messages, called tweets, to a group of other users. You can also sent private messages to users who have elected to receive tweets from you.

Step 2: Using Hashtags
- Hashtags are a Twitter community convention that makes it easy to locate conversations about specific topics. Placing a hash symbol (#) tags in front of a term tags it, and allows it to be tracked by other members of the Twitter community. For example, the hashtag #followfriday is used to identify twitter users that other users suggest you follow.
- You can include the hashtag at the front of the tweet, at the end of the tweet, or even in the middle.
- Don't leave a space between the hash symbol and the keyword.

- There are several ways to track hashtags on Twitter.
- You can use hashtags.org to track all the tweets that include a given hashtags that have been tweeted by users who are followed by hashtags.org.
- Follow @hashtags.org on twitter
- Hashtags.org will follow you back..
- You can go to www.hashtags.org and search for tweets that include a specific hashtag, or just browse the list of hashtags others have been using.
- If you know the hashtag you're looking for, you can search for tweets that include it by using the Twitter search box.
