• TwitBacks allows users to create their own customized Twitter profile pages in just a few minutes. The service is free and gives users the option to upload photos, company logos and display links to their other online profiles on their Twitter profile page.

• To use TwitBacks, you will have to sign up for an account.

1. Go to the TwitBacks homepage at www.twitbacks.com
2. Click on the "Get Started Here" or "Create a Twitter background for FREE" link
3. Enter your Twitter user name, email address and a TwitBacks password in the appropriate fields. Note that your TwitBacks password is not the same as your Twitter password
4. Enter the CAPTCHA code
5. Click on the "Continue" button

• The next screen will ask you to enter your personal information. You can provide as much or as little personal information about yourself as you choose. All the information you enter will be displayed on your Twitter profile page, so only enter the information you want to be publicly available.

1. Enter your name, company name and website and blog URLs in the appropriate fields as desired
2. Upload a personal photo and company logo and select a display option if you wish
3. Use the check box to select whether you want your email address to appear on your Twitter profile
4. Enter your user name(s) in the appropriate field(s) if you want to feature links to your other social networking profiles
5. If you want, select which font and font size you want displayed on your TwitBacks profile using the drop down menus
6. From the column on the right hand side of the page, select the background template you would like to use
7. Click on the "Continue" button
8. The next screen will show you a preview of what your new template will look like. If you are happy with how it looks, move on to the next step. If you want to make changes, use your web browser's "Back" option or click on the "Edit TwitBack" link to go back to the edit page

• After you are satisfied with your TwitBacks profile, the next step is to upload it to your Twitter page. You can do so one of two ways.

1. Click on the link that says "Click here to automatically post your background to your Twitter profile"

2. On the next screen, enter your Twitter user name and password and select whether you want to send out a tweet announcing your new background

3. Click on the "Post your background to your Twitter profile" button

• You can also choose to download and save your TwitBacks profile to your computer and then upload it manually

1. Click on the "Download TwitBack" link
2. Log in to your Twitter account
3. Follow the "upload to Twitter instructions" provided on the TwitBacks website to upload your new background to your Twitter profile

• Once you have created a TwitBacks account, you can log in to edit your existing backgrounds or create a new background at any time.
