How To Use the Front-Facing Camera on the iPhone 4 Demo
Mike Bracco, Community Manager at Mahalo, shows us how to use the front-facing camera on the iPhone 4. He first describes it as a "great new feature," which indeed it is. From the main menu, he then shows the correct buttons to press in order to use iPhone 4's front-facing camera.
Step 1: Launch iPhone 4's Front Camera
When you turn on your phone, you should see the camera icon, on the top right corner of the screen if you haven't rearranged your icons. You just tap gently on the camera icon, and voila, the camera turns on as a mirror with your face looking back at you.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPYzpT9mTZI
Step 2: Switch between Photo and Video Mode
As soon as you see your own face, you will also notice some settings on the horizon of the screen. There is a slide that lets you switch between the still photo or motion picture options of iPhone 4's front-facing camera. You may use the slide to alternate between them if sliding is your style. Alternatively, you can just tap on the slide and switch back and forth between the two options.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPYzpT9mTZI
Step 3: Switch between Front and Back Camera
As soon as you see your own face, you will also see an icon on the top right hand corner of the screen. This is actually your switch between the front-facing and the back-facing cameras of your iPhone 4. If you tap on the icon, your image will be replaced by the view the back camera sees. Tap again, and you can use your iPhone as a mirror again.
