Using Paragraph Breaks
When you're working on a document in Pages, you can adjust the settings to prevent paragraphs from being broken up by page breaks in the document.
Open the Text Inspector
Click on the Inspector icon in the toolbar to open the Inspector window. Select the Text Inspector tab. In the Pagination & Break section, there are four options for customizing the way your paragraphs break. Highlight a paragraph and select from the options. You can remove any of the settings by unchecking the boxes.

Keep lines together: This will take the selected paragraph and make all of its lines stay together on one page. This may push the entire paragraph onto the next page if necessary to prevent it from being split up by a page break.
Keep with following paragraph: This will make the selected paragraph always stay on the same page as the following paragraph.
Paragraph starts on a new page: This option will make the selected paragraph begin on a new page. If you move it around the document, it will automatically create a page break.
Prevent widow & orphan lines: This will prevent a single line of a paragraph from spilling onto a previous or next page.
