Step 1: Start a New Presentation on Keynote
Activate the program by pressing the application icon on your home screen. Turn your Apple iPad to landscape mode, as the application will only work in this orientation. Press the plus button icon on the bottom of your screen to create a new presentation, then select the template you would like to feature on your presentation. Step 2: Add Objects
Press the picture icon in the upper right-hand corner of your iPad screen. Select an image you would like to feature on your slide. The picture will appear on your page. If you would prefer a chart, select the "Charts" tab and press the picture of the chart you want to place on your presentation. Tap and hold your inserted image to place it where you want it to appear on the screen. Step 3: Add Text
Insert a title box by pressing the picture icon, then the "Shapes" tab. Select the shape you would like for a page title or text box. Once the shape appears on your screen, move it and adjust the shape in the same manner as objects. Double tap the box and a virtual keyboard will appear. Type in your preferred text on your iPad, then tap off your keyboard to set your text.
