Your Android phone contains features for accessing and editing your Facebook account. You can do this by setting up a home screen widget or using the Facebook application.

Facebook Widget
1. To add a Facebook widget to your home screen, tap and hold on the home screen. Select Android widgets from the menu and then select Facebook from the options.
2. The Facebook home screen widget displays the most recent Newsfeed items in your account. The arrows on the bottom corners allow you to scroll through older and newer items.
3. You can update your status by tapping the text box at the top of the widget. Type in your text and then tap Share.

Facebook Application
1. Select the Facebook icon on your phone to open the application on the screen.
2. The default window displays the standard Newsfeed. You can customize the appearance by tapping Top News at the top right. This will open a list of ways to organize your Newsfeed information: Top News, Most Recent, Status Updates, Photos and others.
3. In your Newsfeed, you can Like or comment on an item by tapping the "+" button next to it. This will open the item page and provide a comment text box below.

4. From the Newsfeed screen, tap the Back button once. A new screen will display additional features on your Facebook account, such as accessing your friends, viewing your profile or sending messages.
- You can view new notifications by tapping on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Search for a person by tapping the magnifying glass at the top right of the screen.
- Edit your status by tapping the text message box at the top right. Enter in your text and then tap Share.
5. You can also edit your Facebook settings by going to Menu --> Settings. This will display a list of notification alerts and options that you can customize.
