Finished Mashed Potatoes
Alternate Method: Ricer
After washing, boiling and peeling white or red potatoes, cut the whole potatoes into 1-inch cubes and place a few of the pieces into the bowl of the ricer.
- Holding the ricer over your mixing bowl, push the handles of the ricer together, making sure the pieces fall into the bowl.
- Repeat the process of inserting potatoes and squeezing the ricer until you have mashed all the potatoes.
- Stir with a spoon and add butter, milk, salt and pepper as desired.
