You Will Need
- Hair straightener
- Choose a narrow-plated straightener, no more than two inches wide.
- Brush
- Fine-tooth comb
- Straightening cream or smoothing balm.
Step 1: Blow Dry
- Start with clean hair.
- Towel dry.
- Blow dry.
- Brush out any tangles.
Step 2: Comb in Straightening Cream
- Distribute a small amount of straightening cream through your hair.
Step 3: Turn on the Straightening Iron
- Turn on the straightening iron. You do not want to use the iron until it is hot.
Step 4: Divide Hair into Sections
