What You'll Need
- A potato, carrot, apple or other fruit or vegetable that needs to be sliced
- A mandoline
Make Your Slices
Adjust the dial on your mandoline to match the desired thickness of the vegetable.
- Set up the stand on your mandoline, if yours has one.
- Attach the vegetable to the guard slot.
- Place the guard at the top of the blade and run it down the mandoline in a quick, consistent movement. Repeat this action until you have sliced the entire vegetable.
