Mahalo cooking expert Scott Aaronson demonstrates how to use a food processor to shred a potato.
What You'll Need
Shred Your Vegetable
1. Peel the potato and cut it in half. It's best to work with small pieces of vegetables or fruit.2. Attach the shredding blade to the stem and place it over the cylinder in the center of the work bowl.
3. Place the lid on top of the work bowl and lock it into place.
4. Put the potato in the mouth opening on the lid. The small pusher can be used for carrots, zucchini, bananas or other ingredients that will fit inside the cylindrical opening. 5. Place the pusher assembly over the mouth opening.
6. Turn on the processor by pressing the "on" button.
7. Push down on the pusher assembly. Your potato will press through the blade and produce perfect shredded pieces.
