Mahalo's technology expert Sean Hewitt explains how to set up your profile in your Flickr account.
Setting Up Your Profile
After you've created a new Flickr account, you can personalize your profile to include information about yourself. When someone views your photostream, they'll see the buddy icon and profile description that you've added.
1. Login to www.Flickr.com with your username and password.
2. Under "Here's how to get started" click on Personalize your profile. 
3. Select Option 1: Create your buddy icon. - On the right side of the window, select "Find an image on my computer."
- Browse your folders for an image to select and upload.
- Once your image is uploaded, crop which part will be displayed and then click Make the Icon.
4. Select Option 2: Choose your custom Flickr URL.- On the right side of the window, type in the end of the address you want for your Flickr account.
- Click Preview and then "OK, lock it in and continue."
- This will be the direct link to your account.
5. Select Option 3: Personalize your profile. - On the right side of the window, type in your first name, last name, timezone, gender, singleness and a short description of yourself.
- Click Next.
6. Your profile will now include the buddy icon, URL and information that you added.
