In this video, Mahalo technology expert Sean Hewitt shows you how to set up an email account on your Android phone.
Setting Up Email Accounts
1. Select the Gmail icon on your Android phone.
2. When the Gmail window opens, go to Menu --> Accounts. Tap Add account at the bottom of the screen.
3. A menu will display all of the available account types to add. Select the type you want to use and then tap Next.
4. Depending on the type of account you're adding, you will be given the option of creating a new account or signing in with an existing one.
5. You can also add accounts by using the phone's Account Management feature, which allows you to edit all the accounts on the phone. Select the Accounts icon on your Android to open MOTOBLUR Accounts and then select Add account. 
6. The window will open up the menu of available accounts to add. Select an account and then enter your login information.
7. If your mail account is not represented by the programs already installed on your phone, you can use a separate application to access it.
Go to the Android Marketplace and install K-9 Mail for free. This application will allow you to add any email account for which you have the IMAP numbers.
