Instructions for Oven Roasted Coffee
- Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F
- Place the beans in the vegetable steamer of colander, and set them on the cookie sheet
- Bake 15-20 minutes at 500 degrees F, stirring or shaking the beans every minute to ensure that they cook evenly.
- When the beans are done, transfer them to another colander and stir to help cool them quickly.
- The agitation should help separate the beans from their skin, which is called chaff. Don't worry if not all of the chaff is removed;it won't affect the taste of the coffee.
