How to Stack Your Fences in Farmville

Learning how to put fences on top of another on Farmville is a cool thing to learn. Stacking the fences makes the acreage on Farmville appear almost 3-demsional and sets it apart from most of the other farms.

This stacking on fences trick is not hard to do at all. Players of Farmville can also stack hay bales, hedges along with the fences. Hay bales and fences both come in a rainbow of colors so you can have pretty cliffs or hills if you prefer to call them.

FarmVille is a social game developed by Zynga, and available on social networks and iPhones. Launched in June 2009, it became one of the most popular applications on Facebook, garnering 10 million users in less than a month. It remains one of the most popular games on Facebook today.

In FarmVille, players grow crops, raise animals, put up buildings, and visit other players' environments, while earning coins to "unlock" items that help them advance in the game. Coins and cash can also be purchased through PayPal, credit cards, and mobile phones and used within the game virtual cash. Recently plugged by Kevin Rose on Diggnation

Stacking Fences in Farmville

In the game Farmville one needs to understand that you cannot put the fences directly on top of each other, it is just an illusion you can create. The cliffs look much better if they appear in one section of the farm, such as the upper left hand corner.

One simply needs to figure out exactly where to play the cliff or hill and begin clearing those plots of land of everything. Once the land is cleared, a decision must be made on which types of fences to purchase and stack. The white fences cost less so that is a great idea to create the hill with mostly white fences, but a player needs to add a row of black fences in the back to create a visually stunning 3-d effect.

When placing the black line of fences, simply place them side by side so they fit together snugly. Then the player will off set a row of white fences in front, starting at the end of the left most side of the black fences. Do not set the white fences directly in front of the black ones, as it will not achieve the look.

Continue off setting the white fences down the row of black fences, and then go back to the left most side of your white line and begin laying another row of white fences. Continue to place a few rows of the white fences, and offset them just a bit from the proceeding row and when you are done you have built the cliff illusion of stacked fences.
