Posting images on Facebook is a great way to show off photos that you like. Just create an account, get your pictures formatted, and then follow the simple instructions. If you get lost, click on Help at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a menu of help topics, and point you towards the answers to a variety of commonly asked questions.

Have fun with your photos, but try not to post anything that may embarrass you later on. Take care before posting anything too risque; people's Facebook photos have been known to come back and haunt them when they are discovered by the wrong people.

• If you don't already have a Facebook account, you will need to start one before you post your photos. Go to Facebook.com and fill in the required information. Once you submit the registration form, you will need to check the email address that you gave them, and look for a confirmation message. Click on the link to complete registration and log onto Facebook.

• Your photos should be ready to go before you start the posting process. If they live in your digital camera, save them to your computer in a common format like .jpg. If your file sizes are large, you may want to shrink them down. They should all be well under a megabyte, or you may have problems uploading. Name photos so that they will be easily recognizable when you browse through your files.

• Once you're a member and your photos are in order, you are free to post away. There are two ways to do it:

To Create a Photo Album:

• Log onto Facebook

• Click on Photos on the upper left-hand side of the page

• Choose Create an Album

• Pick a name, location, and privacy settings and click Share

• You will be asked to download a plug in. Go ahead and download.

• Go to the Add Photos tab above the album

• Upload your photos

To Post One Photo:

• Log onto Facebook

• Click on Photos on the upper left-hand side of the page

• Select Upload a Photo

• Browse through the images on your computer and select a photo

• Click Share
