The following page will describe some of the features you will access in the game, and what you should know about them when you play this Runescape for the first time.
Nomad's Requiem Quest Solution
The video above will show you the how to complete Nomad's Requiem quest in Runescape. You can also see how the game looks like and how is the game interface. This quest can only be accessed by members.
Step 1: Controlling your Kingdom in Runescape
Ruenscape gives you the chance to control your own kingdom after you complete a quest named: Throne of Miscellania. If you have a kingdom you will be able to earn money by selling resources and also invest money in it. Here is how you can get access to this feature: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/managing_miscellania
- What you need?
You have to complete the Throne of Miscellania quest and also control a Miner, Lumberjack, Gardener and a Fisherman. If you complete the Royal Trouble quest you will also gain access to a Carpenter and a Farmer. If you want to increase your kingdom’s earning you can help your subject but be aware you will be required some tools and minimum level trained on each profession. For example: to help Miner Magnus you need level 30 in Mining and a pickaxe.
- How to control your kingdom in Runescape?
The only way to control your kingdom and your subjects is by talking to Advisor Ghrim. He offers different advices and if you access him a new window will open which will give you several options:
- Kingdom Ratings: will help you see how much your subjects are working. If your rating is low or near 0 your subjects will not gather enough resources. To increase this rating you have to work with them. Make sure you do that often enough to keep it balanced.
- Payments: will show you how much money you earned and you will be able to set the worker’s salary. If your subjects are not paid they will work slower but paying them well will make them work faster. Your coffer can hold up to 5 million coins if you completed Throne of Miscellania quest and 7.5 million coins if you finished Royal Trouble.
- Assigning workers: is an option that will bring up a map on which you can set the amount of workers for a task. You can increase it in order to focus on gathering wood or collecting herbs. This amount can be lowered later to fit your needs.
- How do you gather your resources?
If your workers are satisfied and you rating are high enough, it will take a day to finish their tasks. After this time you can return to Advisor Ghrim which will let you know that your resources are in the bank. You can sell them in order to increase your income. Make sure you have enough space in your bank to deposit the materials, otherwise you will receive a message from Ghriminforming you that you are out of space.
Step 2: Runescape Skills
In Ruenscape you can master 6 major skills. They are used to obtain useful items during your journey therefore they must be trained as soon as you start playing. Here is a list with the skills you have to learn:
- Woodcutting – will allow you to chop trees which can be transformed in logs used to start the fire, create arrows, etc. The only tool you need to start is a hatchet that can be bought from Bob's Axes. After you level this skill more advanced tools are required: Mithril hatchet, Rune hatchet, Inferno Adze or even Machetes.
- Firemaking - is the easiest skill to train in Runescape and will only require a log and a tinderbox (can be bought from the general store). You can use this skill to cook your food and depending on your level you will be asked to use different types of logs from different trees: Arctic Pine, Mahogany, Eucalyptus, Oak, etc...
- Cooking – will help you create meals that will restore your lost health. It requires Firemaking and can be trained at the chicken pen. In Runescape you can either cook your meal using the fire you make or you can cook in the Cooking Ranges which can be found in cities and are marked on your map.
- Fishing - is an important skill that provides you the fish you can use to cook. Visiting a fish store you will be able to purchase the items you need in order to fish. There are different types of fishing, depending on your skill. In Runescape you can fish using a: Small Net, Bait, Harpoon, and many more.
- Mining – is the skill that will allow you to gather ores from mining spots. Like the Woodcutting skill, leveling it will allow you to use more advanced pickaxes made of: Mithril, Adamant and so on. The resources are required in Smithing which allows you to create weapons or armors.
- Smithing – is required to create bars from the ore you gather or to create items. To create bars from the resources you need a furnace. You can also trade the ores you have with other players in exchange for bars. To turn the bars in items (weapons or armors) you need an anvil and hammer, which can be purchased or found in mines. These skills can provide you a good income.
