A minor: With your right hand, play the A, C, and E notes using your thumb, middle finger and pinky. Use your left hand to play an A in the bass clef.

D minor: To form the D minor chord, use your right hand to play the notes D, F, and A. Play a D in the bass octave with your left hand.

G: To play a G chord, use your right thumb, middle finger and pinky to play a B, D, and G in your octave.

C: A C chord is formed by playing a C with your thumb, an E with your middle finger and a G with your pinky.

F: Form the F chord by playing the notes F, A, and C. You will want to play these notes with your right hand, starting with the F two steps above your last C note and working your way up the scale.

B flat: Play the B flat chord using your right hand, striking the B flat, D and F notes. Remember that the B flat note is the black key below the natural B note.

E: An E chord is formed by playing an E, G sharp and a B with your right hand.

E7: The E7 chord is played with the same notes as the E natural chord, an E, G sharp and a B, plus the addition of a D note. With your left index finger, play the D note just below the E in the E chord.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg0syZdD8Kk&feature=player_embedded#at=107

Step 3: Correspond the Chords with the Lyrics

When you are comfortable playing the chords in the proper progression at the proper tempo, you are ready to incorporate the lyrics to the song. It is a good idea to print the lyrics and write above the words which chords you should be playing, that way you know exactly when to transition from one chord to the next.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg0syZdD8Kk&feature=player_embedded#at=107
