Step 2: Free Realms Online Jobs:
Free Realms Online features 16 jobs available to players. Some of them can be unlocked by becoming a member but many of them are available to everyone. As a basic rule, to unlock a job you have to train or complete tasks. The interesting part in the game is that you can change your job every time you want, from the interface. Your character will do a little spin and you’re done. Example: You can be a miner and a warrior, but you can change that and you can be a pet trainer and a warrior or a pet trainer and a ninja. Every job will level-up separately. Here is the list with the jobs available and some of their features: http://guides.ign.com/guides/848450/page_4.html
- Adventurer – is the first job from the list and it is the default job that is assigned to you after logging in. Completing main quests will level it up.
- Archer – will allow you to use bows and arrows. To unlock it and level it you have to complete quests for Lugabow, the archer trainer. Some of the abilities available to an archer are Lucky Shot and Barrage.
- Blacksmith – will give you the chance to create weapons and armors using the materials you gather as a miner. To unlock it talk to Smitty the trainer.
- Brawler – is a job that can be used if you prefer closed ranged combats. A Brawler uses his fists to fight but can also be equipped with clubs. Glancing Blow can be used by brawlers and Savy is a trait that will increase your critical strike damage.
- Card Duelist – is a job that can be unlocked by completing quests for Sam Potts. Unlocking it you will be able to play the Trading Card Game with other players or fight against enemies.
- Chef – this job can be unlocked by talking to Cookie. You can create different recipes that will increase your stats. To collect your ingredients you have to play a matching game and preparing delicious meals its how you level up this profession.
- Demo Derby Driver – it’s an interesting job that can be unlocked by talking to any Demo Derby trainer in Free Realms Online. You will have the chance to complete races, customize your cars by adding decals and many more. The goal is to crash into other players while racing.
- Kart Driver - has the same aspects as Demo Derby Driver job but this time, your goal is to win races.
- Medic – is another combat job that allows you to heal your friends while they fight. It can be unlocked by Nurse Naia. Using Triage you will heal yourself and your team-mates, but using Incision will damage all the enemies in front of you.
- Miner- is a gathering job that can be unlocked by Therin. The materials gathered can be used by a Blacksmith and this job is leveled by mining as much as you can.
- Ninja – will use stealth and shurikens to fight enemies. This combat job can be unlocked by Master Ty and the skills available are: Flame Flash, Dragonstrike or Shrouded Armor.
- Pet Trainer – is a funny job that allows you to purchase a pet from a Pet Center. You can teach him to do tricks and this is the only way to level it up. You can unlock it by talking to Zachery. Your pet can also wear different outfits purchased from the shops.
- Postman – is a job that can be unlocked by Felipe. After you complete some quests for him you can play mini-games that require speed and agility. You will be asked to deliver mail in a certain amount of time or to find lost packages.
- Warrior – is a melee combat job. Sergeant Dewey is your trainer and adventuring into instances will level you up. You can use axes and hammers. Spining Attack is a powerful skill that will inflict 506 damage and is only available if you use this job.
- Wizard – the last combat job can only be unlocked by Fizzlesticks. You will then be a long range caster able to use Lightning Blast, IceArmor and more.
Step 3: Free Realms Online Interface
Free Realms Online has a friendly and colorful interface. We have divided it in 5 sections to explain its features better.
- Top left corner of the screen will display your character portrait. You can see there your character’s name, portrait, and your current equipped job. Clicking on the job icon will open a new window where you can see the jobs list and select one. For quicker access, in order to switch your job, click on the arrows near the icon.
- Bottom left corner is displaying your chat options: Chat History (shows you the archive of the messages you received and sent), Quick Chat (displays a list with the most common sentences, which will help you send quick message without typing them) and Emotes (opens a list with most common emoticons that you can use).
- Bottom side of the screen is the main bar of your character. It displays icons to access your: "Character Info", "The Market", "The Chat Bar" (where you can type your messages), "House Button" (it instantly teleports you to your home), "Pet Button" ( access your pet stats and options) and "Game Guide Button".
- Right side of the screen displays your quest log. Every time you pick a quest it will be added to it. From this section you can use the Take me there option and your character will automatically start traveling to the point where you can finish or start the quest.
- Top right corner shows the "Mini Map". On the radar we can see every point of interest, marked with different colors. Hover your mouse over the point and you will receive useful information’s. Near the Mini Map there are several buttons: Zoom, Atlas (will open the world window which offers a better view of the areas you play on), Welcome Screen and more.
Every time you perform an action your interface will change. If you go to your house, the main bar will change into another bar that will show you the items you can buy in your home. To understand your interface better just move your cursor on every area and you will receive small tips about it.
