This how to play Facebook's CafeWorld page is a beginning guide for playing Café World. This page also will list some Cafe World tricks and cheats. Similar to other Zynga games on Facebook, Café World is designed to be a socially interactive game. In Café World players can give café gifts and invite neighbors from among their friends on Facebook. The object of the game is to build a café by adding coins and neighbors while “cooking” recipes.

As with all Facebook games the first step is to set up an account on Facebook. Refer to the How to Use Facebook page for details on this process. Then move on to set up a Café World profile. You can access Café World several ways, if any of your friends are playing Café World you should be able to see a link to the game in the Facebook Live Feed or News Feed, currently this is not showing up in Facebook Status Updates. Another way to access Café World is through the applications menu that is located on the bottom left corner toolbar when you are logged onto Facebook. If it does not appear in the list then simply click “Browse more applications” at the bottom and a page with choices will open. Select “games” from the left menu and then you should be able to scroll to Café World. This will open the Café World wall, choose "go to application" to open the actual game. 1. The first time you enter Café World the “allow access” message will pop up
2. If you wish to play the game select “allow access”
3. At many times throughout the process of setting up the game you may see notes asking if you want to invite neighbors, respond or skip as you prefer.
4. You will be presented with options for your game avatar, including clothes, hair, etc. In Café World you will be the chef. Notice that some items are free while others require Café World coins.
5. Often during the game, you will be offered ways to get more coins or cash, this usually involves actually purchasing these with real world money through a credit card. This option is usually not necessary to enjoy the game.
6. After you have set up your profile, you are ready to “hire” a friend as a waiter. You will have a choice from all your friends on Facebook. The person you “hire” does not have to be playing the game. Your waiter’s avatar will appear, but your friend does not have to respond.
7. “Hiring” does not cost coins, but the number that can be hired is limited by level of play.
8. If you wish to invite friends on Facebook to become neighbors,select the "Free Gifts" or the "Neighbors" tab on the top tool bar. This will provide a list of all your friends on Facebook, select your "neighbors" and follow the directions.http://apps.facebook.com/cafeworld/help.php?ref=tab

1. You will start with a couple of tables, chairs, stoves and serving counters.
2. To cook an item click on a stove, the cookbook will open and items that are available at your level will be selectable.
3. Notice the cooking time, the cost and the number of servings, then choose the item you wish to cook.
4. Follow the prompts, you will have to click several times in order to get through the preparation process
5. The higher your level the more choices you will have from the cookbook.
6. It is important to vary the items selected based on cooking times, at first you will want quick cooking items.
7. When the item is finished cooking, it will sparkle
8. Click on a completed item to serve it.
9. The waiter(s) will take it to the table.
10. Take care not to leave an item too long or it will spoil.
11. When an item is spoiled it will have green slime and flies circling, simply click it to dispose of it.

1. Activity continues at your café even when the game is closed.
2. When you run out of food block the door to your café, this can be done with a chair, plant or with the velvet rope, which can be purchased from the store.
3. If there are diners in the café when you block the door, they will finish eating and leave, but no more customers will come in to the café
4. When the door is blocked the food will keep cooking but no customers will enter, so your buzz rating will not go down.
5. The buzz rating is indicated by the number beside the thumbs up on the top right of the screen.
6. The buzz rating determines how popular your café is and therefore how many people enter.
7. It seems that the highest possible buzz rating is 105 at the current time.
8. While you have the door blocked if you go into the store, visit a neighbor, or close the game, customers will be there when you return to your cafe, but the buzz rating will be the same as when you left. If you still don't have any food prepared your buzz rating will be reduced when those customers leave.
9. When you have the door blocked, either leave the game open or time it so that when you return food will be ready to serve.

1. A simple door is free and you can have as many doors as you wish, even a whole wall of doors.
2. You can remove the door, just drop it onto the tool bar.
3. The door will be available to you when you are ready, unless you sell it.
4. You can sell the door, but it will be at a reduced price, when you purchase a new door you will have to pay full price.
5. As you reach higher levels you will be able to purchase more stoves and serving counters.
6. Through the various tool bars you will be able to purchase a variety of items for your Café.

1. When you replace items, such as the floor, wall coverings, etc. they will be put back into your inventory.
2. When you own an item you will see a number when you go into the shop menu, this shows how many you own of a specific item.
3. You may sell items in your inventory by dragging them onto the cash register, it will always be sold back for much less than you paid for the item.
4. You may visit a neighbors café by clicking their picture, or the "neighbors" tab on the menu.
5. Occasionally during game play a notice will pop up that one of your neighbors needs help, and you will have the option to help or decline.
6. Helping neighbors is a good way to make coins and extra points, it also allows you to see their café.
