Step 1: Eve Online Races

Eve Online features 4 major races from which you will be able to choose when you create your character. This section will describe some of their features and other aspects that will help you decide which race will fit your needs: http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Amarr

  1. The Amarr Race – has 3 sub-races. The Amarrians which are proud people and very inflexible. They are aware of their superiority and they respect their traditions. The Ni-Kunnis is a primitive sub-race which was conquered by the Ammarians. Now they are artisans and tradesmen, cunning, and unscrupulous. The Khanid are strong warriors, proud and ambitious, and through time they became valuable allies to the Amarrians.
  2. The Caldari Race – has the following sub-races: Deteis who are hard-working people. They work in administration and have a strange sense of humor. Civire is a sub-race that can handle stressful situations in combats. Most of them are bounty hunters. Achura is a meditative race with quiet people most of them teachers, coming from Saisio system.
  3. The Gallente Race – also has 3 sub-races. Gallenteans are people who value liberty and freedom. They are ambitious and very brave if their way of life is threatened. The Intakis are quiet and reserved, living in peace with everybody…until now. Jin – Mei is a very rigorous sub-race who prefers stability and security. They don’t like adventuring without a purpose.
  4. The Minmatar Race – is the last major race from the game. Sebiestors is a sub-race with curious and charming people. They are great thinkers. The Brutors are strong-willed people who believe in physical powers making them always alert and patient. Vherokior is a race who likes to do businesses. Their history is still an enigma for everybody but they are good merchants and healers.

Step 2: Eve Online Character Creation

After you choose the race for your Eve Online character is time to configure his appearance. You will see that there are several options you will be able to access during this process: http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Character_creation

Change your character's appearance is the first option. From the sections available you can change the background of your avatar, the decorations he is wearing, the hair style and colors or the light effects from your character’s picture.

In order to customize your avatar’s face to make it unique, you can adjust the dimensions of his eyebrows, or his eyes. If your avatar is a female, you can add lipstick, and make-up. If you intend to change the uniform you can do that in the same section and you can even apply tattoos.

By clicking the Random Options button you will be able to play with a character that has been choose by the system randomly.

. On the same page you will find 2 more sections: Morph and Pose. By accessing the Morph section you will be able to modify the avatar’s jaws or mouth position and dimensions. The Pose option will let you modify the head of your avatar and his position. All these options will help you to create a unique avatar to play with, and you should take some time to try them all.

Once your character is created it is time to name it. Pick any name you like but be aware to respect the policies. After your character has a name it’s time to start your journeys through space.
