How to play a c chord
Introduction
Just a beginner or new to playing the Guitar? Then there's no need to put much effort in learning the C Major. There's the easy version that requires you to play it using just three of your fingers. Then there's the harder one that requires you to use four.
Prepare your Guitar now. Make sure that you have it properly tuned to achieve the correct sound output.
Step 1: The Easy Version
Put your left index finger to the first fret's fingerboard, second string. Then, put your left middle finger on the second fret, fourth string. Lastly, put your left middle finger on the third fret, fifth string.

Step 2: The Other Version
This style can be done if you are playing a song consisting of chords using your left index finger as a bar. Bar means you are pressing all strings in one fret.
To do this C Major, like already stated, press the second fret strings using your left index finger. Put your middle finger on the third string of the third fret then lastly, pinky finger press fourth & fifth string on the fourth fret.

Step 3: Strum
Now that you know where to place your fingers, you can start strumming. Beginners could start with the easy way. There are times when you're going to play songs that requires you to play chords that uses your index finger as a bar. In this cases, use the second method stated here.
