How to Play an E-flat Minor 7th (Ebm7) Chord
Ebm7 chords sound complicated but aren't much more difficult to play than a simple Eb minor triad. To play a Ebm7 chord, start by playing a Eb minor triad. Place your right thumb on Eb. Now, place your middle finger on Gb. Finally, place your little finger on Bb. In order to turn your Ebm triad into an Ebm7 chord, cross your left index finger over your right hand and place it on Db. Play all four notes at the same time while keeping the volume consistent.
With practice you can also play an Ebm7 chord with one hand. To play an Ebm7 chord with your right hand, place your right thumb on Eb, your index finger on Gb, your middle finger on Bb and your little finger on Db. This might take some practice so try your best not to get frustrated. In time you'll get it down.
