How to Pay Your Taxes Online

- If you're using an online tax preparation service like TurboTax, TaxACT or H&R Block's TaxCut, you'll have the option to pay your taxes by electronic withdrawal from your bank account or via credit card at the time you file your return.
- If you are paying at a later date or have filed on paper and wish to pay online, you can submit a credit card payment through one of the IRS' e-pay service providers. Bear in mind that you will incur an additional convenience charge for using these services. If you decide to use such a service, you can find full list of e-pay service providers is available through the IRS website.
