Lay out and measure all ingredients before beginning to make the vodka jelly- 1 package of Jell-O
- 1/2 cup of cold water
- 1/2 cup of boiling water

Step 2: How to Make Vodka Jelly
- Add 1/2 cup boiling water to Jell-O and mix well.
- Allow it to cool for 5 minutes.
- Add in the cold water first, then the vodka.
- Mix well.
- You can refrigerate the vodka jelly in the mixing bowl, or refrigerate it in individual shot glasses. The smaller the container, the more quickly it will set.
- Refrigerate for several hours.
Step 3: Vodka Jelly Variations
- Fill the containers half full, and refrigerate for an hour. Make a second batch of vodka jelly with a different color Jell-O and pour it on top of the first batch for a layered look. You can repeat this for as many layers as you like, waiting an hour between each layer.
- You can make a vodka jelly fruit salad by adding a can of drained mixed fruit to the mixture after you mix in the vodka. This will need to be refrigerated over night. Don't use fruit mixtures containing pineapple, as the enzymes in the pineapple will prevent the gelatin from setting.
