How to Make Vanilla Almond Milk

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup raw almonds
  • 1/4 cup dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp alcohol-free organic vanilla
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 blender

Blend Your Ingredients

  1. Place almonds, vanilla, dates and a little bit of water in your blender.
  2. Blend your ingredients.
  3. Add the rest of your water until the almond milk reaches your desired consistency.

Filter Your Milk (Optional)

To remove any nut pulp from your milk, you may want to filter it. Nut milk bags can be bought online and in many healthy living stores. Straining your milk through these bags will create a silkier milk, just think of the differences in orange juice with or without pulp. A very fine strainer can also substitute.
