Introduction
Tapioca is a starch that comes from the root of the cassava plant. It is used as a thickener for fruit pies and desserts, and is also used to make snacks and beverages. Step 1: Tapioca Pudding Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick cooking small pearl tapioca
- 3 cups milk

- 2 eggs, lightly beaten

Step 2: How to Make Tapioca Pudding
- Mix tapioca, milk, salt, eggs, and sugar, in a heavy bottomed saucepan.

- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it comes to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes, until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Step 3: Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding
Tapioca pudding can be made in the crockpot, if you have the time.
- Place all ingredients, except the vanilla in the slow cooker.
- Stir well.
- Cook for 6-8 hours on low, or 3-4 hours on high.
- Add vanilla at the end of the cooking time.
